Walls – we carry out a spot clean on walls for insects and small marks, however a full wall wash requires more time and the use of additional products. We are happy to provide this service however this is generally only required if marks exist beyond normal ‘wear and tear’.
Carpets - requiring more than hoovering, carpets can be steam cleaned with (hot water extraction)
at additional cost. Please note that carpet steam cleaning, when booked as part of the End of Tenancy Service is not a guaranteed service and any stains on the carpet or upholstery that are too old or have been treated before may not be removed completely.
Standard blinds - are blinds with a surface that can be dusted or cleaned without requiring a specialist and/or extra time. For example; material blinds or curtains may require a blind cleaning specialist. Venetian and Roller blinds will be quoted separately based on the number of blinds in the property.
End-of-Tenancy cleaning will be performed in accordance with the instructions taken at the time of booking and detailed in the service quote. Sheer Sparkles is not liable if the work performed does not meet the requirements of a third party. Sheer Sparkles will not be responsible for any additional charges imposed by a third party.
Please note that a minimum deposit of 30% is required when booking the service. In some situations, full payment may be required. Deposits are non-refundable, except in the case where we are at fault for a cancellation. "NO EXCEPTION", if you cancel your appointment, an additional deposit must be made if you choose to book again. If you have to change the date of your appointment, this must be done within 48 hours of your booking.
All kitchen appliances are cleaned internally and externally, we will clean the face of the exhaust fan, but cleaning the filter and all related parts will be charged in addition. We will also clean the voids next to the stove, although we will not be able to move the stoves from their resting position for health and safety reasons.
While we will do our best to clean any grout between tiles, please understand that some discoloration may still remain. Please ensure you have running hot and cold water as we may not be able to perform your cleaning otherwise.
Mould removal will be charged in addition, as this procedure is very time consuming and requires specialized products.
The amount quoted above is based on the assumption that the property is in the state presented in the photographs or videos supplied to us from yourself. If the actual property differs in appearance from the photos or videos provided, we may need to amend the total fee accordingly.
We understand the stress of moving and the possibility of things being left behind, even if excessive amounts of goods are left behind, it takes time to get them out.
Ensure that the freezer has been defrosted at least the day before to ensure that our cleaners are able to complete the work in progress. Please make sure that all goods and perishables are removed from all cupboards, shelves as well as the refrigerator and freezer. Failure to do so will result in our cleaners being unable to complete these tasks or incur an additional cost due to the time it may take.

In case of your absence from the property, key pick up can be arranged. Please inform us in advance where/with whom the key will be located. Also, if there are any special instructions, please inform us before the service.
It is recommended that the customer is available on site to inspect the move out clean. Any areas not meeting the customer’s criteria are cleaned again on the spot. All reasonable problems will be dealt with by our team.
Prior to cleaning, a representative from Sheer Sparkles will either visit the premises or arrange for a virtual consultation to discuss the areas to be cleaned. A written estimation is then provided, confirming the schedule and price.
Dust accumulates everywhere in a property, to the tiniest spots and openings. It’s possible some of it may show only after the cleaning has taken place.
The construction work must be completed in order for our technicians to work efficiently and achieve the best results.
The presence of builders can compromise the quality of the work or make it take longer than anticipated, so we strongly advise against it OR we recommend that the cleaning be completed in two steps, one near completion and one after completion.
Walls and ceilings are not part of the cleaning service as any cleaning attempts risk causing damage to their surface. Blinds can be dusted and wiped upon request, however, bear in mind this can be very time-consuming, and the service is charged by the hour.
There is no guarantee that the reserved time will be sufficient to accomplish all the tasks required in on your priority list. We will give a rough estimate of the time it would take upon inspecting the property on arrival and will discuss with you if longer time will be required.
Professional carpet cleaning and oven cleaning are additional services that need to be requested upon making the booking. We cannot guarantee it will be possible to add them on site.
We do our best to remove small amounts of mould from areas including bathrooms, however, mould can be embedded into silicon, grout and other areas which require replacing and/or a specialist to restore to its normal state.
Our cleaners do not clean at heights over a two-step ladder i.e. windows in unit blocks or second floors of houses.
We do not clean ceilings however cobwebs and dust will be removed with a long-handled duster.
Damp spots can occur throughout the home with drywall plaster often being affected. We do our best to remove any mould and marks from these areas however we cannot completely make these spots disappear. These marks can return due to excess moisture in the home even after the area has been cleaned.
Our team will do everything they can to clean all areas throughout the home however sometimes discoloration’ happens with normal wear and tear of the property including grout, toilets and seats and plastics (often turning a yellowish colour). If/when this discoloration occurs, it cannot be returned to its original state without specialist intervention or replacements of the item.
We do not clean eternal walls or animal Waste.
We do not clean bio waste and other hazardous material.
